Nicely Rebounds with $5,000 Victory at The Mag!

(Columbus, MS - April 11, 2026) – The second round of the Inaugural Southern Dirt Street Stock Series presented by Kelley Trucking, LLC delivered a full weekend of action at Magnolia Motor Speedway, and when the dust settled, Tyler Nicely found redemption lane.

After not finishing the feature in the season opener at Needmore Speedway, the Owensboro, Kentucky driver returned with a mission and executed it to perfection, charging from the 7th starting position to capture the $5,000 victory in Saturday night’s 50-lap Golden Egg – Spring Nationals finale.

The weekend began Friday night with a stacked field taking part in qualifying and six heat races to set the tone. Shay Knight topped Group A qualifying with a lap of 16.309 seconds, while Corey Neil Jr. led Group B time trials. Heat race victories went to Rod Tucker, Brandon Hill, Caiden Jackson, Corey Neil Jr., Michael Santangelo, and Brad Skinner, showcasing the depth of talent on hand.

Saturday’s program saw drivers battle through a pair of B-Mains to lock into the feature field, with Trey Bright and Cody Chism each earning wins to transfer into the main event.

When the green flag dropped on the 50-lap feature, polesitter Caiden Jackson jumped out front early, pacing the field for the opening 30-laps. Nicely methodically worked his way forward from seventh, picking off cars and positioning himself for the late stages of the race.

As the laps wound down, Nicely took control on lap-31 and battled briefly with Moore for two laps, then went on to lead the final 5-laps to score the victory and becoming the second different winner in series history.

Jaxon Moore put together an impressive drive from 11th to finish second and led 2-laps, while Corey Neil Jr. completed a strong weekend with a third-place finish. Jackson held on for fourth after leading early, and Andrew Stone advanced from 17th to round out the top five.
