American Crate Late Model Series Heads to Ark-La-Tex Speedway Saturday
(Eastaboga, AL – April 24, 2026) – The American Crate Late Model Series will move forward with a revised schedule this weekend after weather forced changes to the originally planned Texas two-step. Friday night’s event at 67 Speedway of Texarkana has been postponed due to a strong threat of severe storms in the area.
Series and track officials made the decision with safety in mind for fans, teams, and officials as storms were forecasted to impact the area during race time. A makeup date is currently being explored and will be announced at a later time if one can be agreed upon.
With Friday’s event sidelined, all focus now shifts to Saturday night at Ark-La-Tex Speedway in Vivian, Louisiana, where the American Crate Late Model Series will compete for $1,500-to-win and $300-to-start. Pit gates are scheduled to open at 4 p.m., with racing set to begin at 7 p.m. A strong field of competitors is expected as teams look to capitalize on a key points-paying opportunity.
The championship battle remains tight entering the weekend, with multiple drivers still firmly in contention as the season continues to take shape.

Patrik Daniel sits only ten points back, while reigning series champion Beau Begnaud remains within striking distance in fourth. With several races still ahead, Saturday night at Ark-La-Tex Speedway could play a pivotal role in shaping the early-season championship outlook.
