Bryant Dominates Round Two of Late Model Challenge at Southern

(Milton, FL – April 26, 2026) – Round Two of the Late Model Challenge Series at Hunt the Front’s Southern Raceway delivered a strong field and an even stronger performance, as Kyle Bryant powered to a flag-to-flag victory in Saturday night’s 30-lap - $3,000 to-win CRUSA Late Model feature.

A total of 23 CRUSA Late Models signed in for competition, with the night shaping up to be a showdown between several of the region’s top contenders. After qualifying and heat race action set the lineup, Bryant rolled off from the second starting position and wasted no time taking command of the race. Once out front, the No. 79 machine set the pace and never looked back, leading all 30 laps to secure the win.

Opening round winner JC Wilson continued his consistent start to the series, finishing second after a solid run from the third starting position. Wilson, who captured the series opener back on March 7th, came up just one spot short of making it two wins in a row.

Cody Smith finished third after a steady drive, followed by Steven Jernigan in fourth and Joseph Joiner rounding out the top five. Polesitter Mark Underwood Jr. slipped to sixth at the finish, with Trent McLeod, Kody Cook, Briar Cheatham, and Austin Storm completing the top ten.

Jerry Bohlman earned Hard Charger honors on the night, advancing from 23rd to 17th.
