Nicely Dominates CRUSA Street Stocks on Jake Hampton Night at Cedar Ridge

(Morgantown, KY – April 26, 2026) – A strong field of CRUSA Street Stocks headlined weekly racing action at Cedar Ridge Speedway on Saturday night, April 25th, and it was Owensboro, Kentucky’s Tyler Nicely putting on a flawless performance to capture the Jake Hampton Night feature victory.

Nicely set the tone early in the evening, laying down the fastest lap in qualifying with a 15.924-second effort before backing it up with a heat race win. Rolling off from the pole position for the 24-lap main event, Nicely never looked back, leading all 24 circuits en route to a commanding flag-to-flag victory.

Ty Shearon chased Nicely across the finish line to claim the runner-up spot, while Trent Young completed the podium in third. Timmy Burch crossed in fourth, with Jeremy Chinn making an impressive drive from 11th to round out the top five.

A total of 18 CRUSA Street Stocks signed in for competition, setting the stage for a competitive night that featured side-by-side racing throughout the field. Heat race wins went to Nicely and Young, setting the lineup for the evening’s feature event.

In the main event, Nicely was in complete control from the drop of the green flag, fending off early challenges and maintaining a steady pace through lapped traffic to secure the win. Behind him, battles raged throughout the top ten as drivers jockeyed for position on the tight Kentucky oval.
