Rain Washes Out Pine Tree 100 Weekend at Swainsboro
(Eastaboga, AL – April 30, 2026) – The Rogers-Dabbs Performance Parts Crate Racin’ USA Dirt Late Model Series will have to wait to crown a Round 4 winner, as Mother Nature has forced the cancellation of the 26th Annual Pine Tree 100 weekend at Swainsboro Raceway.
Track and series officials made the difficult decision to cancel the highly anticipated weekend due to an unfavorable forecast at the JJ Williams-promoted facility.
Forecasts for the weekend showed a 100% chance of rain on Saturday, with showers expected throughout the afternoon and evening, along with an additional 30% chance of rain on Friday.
With the safety of drivers, teams, and fans as the top priority, officials determined that cancellation was the best course of action.
While the Pine Tree 100 will not be contested this weekend, Swainsboro Raceway will still play a major role in the 2026 season. The series is set to return November 26–28 for the 26th Annual Turkey 100 “Southern Dream” weekend paying $10,000 to-win, which will serve as the season finale for the Rogers-Dabbs Performance Parts Crate Racin’ USA Dirt Late Model Series, as well as the championship-deciding event for the Crate Racin’ USA Late Model Sportsman Tour.
The tour will now shift its focus to the next scheduled event at the All-Tech Raceway in Lake City, Florida, for the 5th Annual Harvey Jones Memorial on Saturday, May 23rd. The $10,000-to-win event marks the series’ return to the Wendell Durrance-promoted facility.
Austin Yarbrough, who captured the Harvey Jones Memorial victory in 2025, will look to return to victory lane once again as he continues his pursuit of a championship in 2026.
