Flannagan Dominates CRUSA Late Model Sportsman Feature at North Alabama
(Tuscumbia, AL – May 11, 2026) – North Alabama Speedway welcomed another exciting night of racing action on Saturday night, at the Tuscumbia, Alabama facility. The Tri-State Modifieds were on hand for a series event, plus weekly racing that included the CRUSA Late Model Sportsman.
Billy Flannagan proved to be the class of the field throughout the evening, sweeping both qualifying and feature action in dominant fashion. Flannagan topped qualifying with a fast lap of 15.206 seconds before leading all 15 laps of the feature event from the pole position to secure the victory.
While Flannagan controlled the race out front, the battle behind him stayed intense throughout the event. Keaton Baker worked his way forward from the fifth starting spot to finish second at the checkered flag, while Randall Vaden completed the podium with a third-place finish after starting fourth.
Attrition played a major role during the feature, as only three of the eight starters were running at the finish. Dwight Quillen was credited with fourth despite not reaching the finish, while Jeremy Harbin rounded out the top five. Sonya Vaden, Bronson Perrigo, and Tristan Gray were also unable to complete the event.
