Vandygriff Charges Late for CRUSA Street Stock Victory at Cedar Ridge
(Eastaboga, AL – May 18, 2026) – Friday night racing returned to Cedar Ridge Speedway in Morgantown, Kentucky, with the CRUSA Street Stocks delivering an exciting battle that saw Bubba Vandygriff race his way to victory in the 14-lap feature event.
Vandygriff started from the pole position and stayed within striking distance throughout the race before taking over the top spot on lap nine. From there, the Kentucky driver led the final six circuits to secure the win in front of the Cedar Ridge Speedway faithful.
Zac Harris paced the field early, leading the opening eight laps before settling for a third-place finish at the checkered flag. Corey Kellems advanced from the fourth starting position to finish second, while Travis Wilson crossed the line in fourth. Jimmy Kessinger and Daniel Maiden completed the finishing order.
Earlier in the evening, Vandygriff also claimed the heat race victory, adding to an impressive overall performance during Friday night competition.

Cedar Ridge Speedway will return to action on Saturday, May 30th, featuring a full night of racing highlighted by the Bombers competing for $749 to win. Also scheduled to compete are SCDRA Mini Stocks, Factory Stocks, CRUSA Street Stocks, UMP Pure Mini, 602 Crate Late Models, UMP Open Wheel Modifieds, and Crown Vics.
