Page Charges from 20th to Win $10,000 at Volusia
(Barberville, FL – January 24, 2026) — Michael Page of Douglasville, Georgia delivered a statement performance Saturday night at Volusia Speedway Park, charging from the 20th starting position to capture a $10,000 victory in the Rogers-Dabbs Performance Parts Crate Racin’ USA Winter Shootout Series, part of the Sunshine Nationals weekend.
Page earned his second Winter Shootout victory of the season and added to his already successful 2026, once again proving his ability to navigate traffic and capitalize when it matters most. The win also marked Page’s first Sunshine Nationals, along with a $4,000 Ice Bowl wildcard win at Talladega Short Track.
The 30-lap feature was action-packed from the outset. Hayden Cardwell led the opening 4-laps before Justin Williams briefly took command on Lap 5. Williams control the field until lap 24, but Page surged to the front in the final circuits, sealing the dramatic win.
Multiple cautions slowed the pace throughout the event, including a 15-minute red flag for a rollover accident involving Pearson Lee Williams. Despite the interruptions, the race featured side-by-side action and constant movement through the field with Wil Herrington gaining 18 spots along with Clay Harris.
Williams settled for a strong second-place finish after leading much of the race, while Cardwell completed the podium in third. Wil Herrington and Clay Harris rounded out the top five after impressive charges forward, each gaining 18 positions from their starting spots.
