CRUSA Dirt Late Model Series Heads to Swainsboro for the Pine Tree 100
(Eastaboga, AL – April 29, 2026) – The Rogers-Dabbs Performance Parts Crate Racin’ USA Dirt Late Model Series continues its 2026 campaign this weekend with one of the most anticipated stops of the season, the 26th Annual Pine Tree 100 at Swainsboro Raceway in Swainsboro, Georgia. The weekend will be highlighted by a $10,000-to-win main event on Saturday night as the nation’s top crate late model drivers converge on the flat, gumbo-covered 3/8-mile oval.
While both track and series officials are keeping a close eye on the weather forecast, all plans remain in place to move forward with the full weekend of racing as of now.
The Pine Tree 100 weekend coincides with one of Georgia’s longest-standing traditions, the Pine Tree Festival. Dating back to 1946, the festival has become a staple of Emanuel County, celebrating nearly 80 years of community pride, heritage, and growth. Each spring, Swainsboro transforms into a vibrant destination, welcoming thousands of visitors and creating a unique atmosphere that blends hometown celebration with high-level motorsports competition.
Although this marks just the fifth all-time visit for the Crate Racin’ USA Dirt Late Model Series to Swainsboro Raceway, the track has already produced memorable moments. Previous winners include Cody Overton (2023) and Brandon Overton (2024), while reigning series champion Jeremy Steele swept both Swainsboro events in 2025 enroute to the title.
The championship battle enters the weekend as tight as ever. Joseph Brown leads the standings after three events, but his advantage has narrowed significantly following the Dixie Speedway race. Austin Yarbrough and Deisel Jones sit tied for second, while recent winner Griffin Smith is just 14 points out of the lead in fourth.
