ACLMS Heads to Texas & Oklahoma for May 1-2 Doubleheader
(Eastaboga, AL – April 29, 2026) – The American Crate Late Model Series continues its 2026 campaign with a big two-night swing across Texas and Oklahoma, with the 5th Annual Jerry Shipp Memorial on Friday night, May 1 at Hunt County Raceway in Greenville, Texas.
Friday’s stop at Hunt County Raceway will feature a $2,500-to-win main event paying $450 to start, as drivers honor the legacy of Jerry Shipp in what has quickly become one of the more meaningful events on the ACLMS schedule. Pit gates will open at 5 p.m., grandstands at 6 p.m., with racing set to go green at 8 p.m.
The weekend then shifts north to Southern Oklahoma Speedway in Ardmore, Oklahoma on Saturday, May 2, where drivers will battle for $1,500-to-win and $300-to-start. Pits will open at 5 p.m., with racing scheduled for 7 p.m.

With the championship battle heating up, both nights present critical opportunities for drivers to gain ground in the standings as the series continues to build momentum through the spring months. The doubleheader is expected to draw a strong contingent of regional standouts and series regulars, all looking to add their name to the 2026-wins list.
Fans can expect two nights of intense Crate Late Model racing, featuring some of the top talent in the region competing on two distinct racetracks in back-to-back nights.
