Mitchell and Trull Score Feature CRUSA Wins at Xtreme
(Danville, AL – May 4, 2026) – Weekly racing took centerstage this past Saturday night at Xtreme Speedway, as six divisions filled the pit area with strong competition, including a pair of Crate Racin’ USA sanctioned divisions battling for victory.
In the CRUSA Late Model Sportsman division, Bryson Mitchell turned in a flawless performance. After setting fast time in qualifying with a 14.313 lap, Mitchell carried that speed into the feature, leading all 15 laps from the pole to capture the win.
Joey Tucker continued his strong early-season form with a runner-up finish, while Gary Tucker crossed the line in third. Jeb Merriman advanced from the eighth starting position to finish fourth, with Chad Gentry rounding out the top five. The race saw multiple contenders fall victim to attrition, but Mitchell remained in control from start to finish to secure the victory.

The CRUSA Modified Sportsman division brought a stout 20-car field to the speedway, and it was Blaze Trull rising to the occasion. Trull powered to the front and led all 15 laps of the feature event, holding off a hard-charging Greg Wilhite to claim the win.
Mark Haddon finished third after starting on the pole, with Dale Ledlow and Jacob Lacy completing the top five. The feature was a battle of survival, with several drivers sidelined before the finish, but Trull proved untouchable out front in securing the victory.

Xtreme Speedway will return to action on Saturday, May 16, with another full night of weekly racing featuring CRUSA Late Model Sportsman, CRUSA Modified Sportsman, Mini Stock, Factory Stock, Front Wheel Drive, and Xtreme 365 Late Models.
Pit gates will open at 4:00 PM, with grandstands opening at 4:30 PM. Hot laps are scheduled for 6:30 PM, followed by racing at 7:00 PM.
