Boone Dominates CRUSA Street Stock Special at Windy Hollow
(Owensboro, KY – May 4, 2026) – Following a big-money weekend for the Crate Racin' USA Street Stock division in the Bluegrass State, Windy Hollow Speedway played host to the Kelley Trucking presented $2,500-to-win CRUSA Street Stock special on Sunday night. The event came on the heels of Saturday’s $10,000-to-win showdown at Paducah International Raceway, giving teams a lucrative doubleheader weekend across Kentucky.
A stout field of 18 CRUSA Street Stocks signed in for competition, but it was Chad Boone who proved to be the class of the field from the moment the night began.
Boone set the tone early in qualifying, laying down a fast lap of 15.822 seconds to earn the top spot. From there, the driver of the No. 25 machine continued his dominance by winning his heat race and securing the pole position for the 25-lap main event.
When the green flag dropped on the feature, Boone wasted no time asserting control, jumping out to the early lead and never looking back. The Owensboro-area standout led all 25 laps en route to a commanding flag-to-flag victory, sweeping the evening and pocketing the $2,500 payday.
Corey Neil Jr. put together a strong run to finish second after starting third, while Trent Young charged forward from the seventh starting spot to round out the podium in third. Jaxon Moore crossed the line in fourth, with Malachi Magee completing the top five.
Josh Tyler, Bobo McGhee, Race McMahon, Larry Barber Jr., and Terry Sparks completed the top ten in the final rundown.
